The Quarterly "Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies in Visual Arts" was launched in 2021 at the Faculty of Arts, University of Neyshabur, Iran, with the aim of creating a discursive space for theoretical, practical, and experimental research in various disciplines of the visual arts (Graphic design, painting, photography, sculpture, calligraphy, animation, typography, etc.) with other arts (architectural, performing, and applied arts) and with other sciences (humanities, experimental, and engineering) in order to take an effective step towards promoting and enriching interdisciplinary knowledge and interpreting and resolving issues in the fields of visual arts.
